Friday flash 55 #28

Miranda gripped the steering wheel, her knuckles drained white. The car was still in the driveway. Her life felt thin and pointless, an endless series of dull moments and vacant activities; in fact, when totaled, the additions and subtractions of her life amounted to zero.

I swallowed hard reading this. Where will she go and what will happen next? Excellent way to demonstrate a life changing moment of choice.

Oh, I am guessing swallowing hard is good thing…I don’t know if I will go anywhere with this. Sometimes I just get these characters in my head, in flash of something happening, and that’s it!

I sure hope she has a full tank of gas! It sounds like she has big plans.

Nice job of hooking me and making me wonder.

Oh, goody. I love a good cliff-hanger like this and all the possibilities it presents! (Is she headed to Starbucks where some hapless unfortunate will get in front of her in line??)
