i’ve had enough
enough of the lies, the bitterness, the waste, the wandering
enough of the questions
turned around and around as if looking into a glass ball
for an answer that will not come
enough of the tears
soaking my bed at night till my eyes dry up and become hard
i can cry no more

why wasn’t the trust i had in you enough?
it should have been enough
i wanted it to be enough

Yeah, as I read this again, I realize why I shouldn’t write poetry. It’s where all my dark and angry feelings go…

I think it is okay to have an outlet to let all of those dark, angry, negative feelings of angst and insecurity flow through. Heck if we didn’t have something we would explode. Which reminds me of all old joke about why good dogs and quiet women pass gas, but I’ll leave that one to your imagination.
