Weekly Wes #2

Wesley recently advanced his shenanigans from climbing under furniture – he’s getting bigger and got stuck under the buffet last week – to making his way upstairs, which he is not yet allowed to do.

Today he sat in the middle of the living room very still, looking at me. I could see his challenging stare out of the corner of my eye while I worked on the computer. I glanced in his direction and he took off, bolting up the stairs faster than I could go. That little bugger is fast!

This is Wes, pausing on his way down the stairs for a photo.

Oh yeah, he’s your new full time job. Have fun with that. *giggle* Although it sounds like you already are. He is adorable! How is he doing in the Cutest Pet contest?

I think the contest is rigged! Seriously, he’s doing OK, but there are some dogs that truly are not that cute (really, just putting a silly costume on your dog does not make him cute) that are equal or ahead of him. Of course, the dogs that have more votes from friends/family get better ratings. Ahh, well…we all know he’s cute!

    What a cutie pie!

I met a dog at the state park today who made me think of you. His owner said, “He’s a Cubs fan. His name’s Wrigley.” 🙂

Yep – he’s moving into the “terrible two’s” just a little early. He looks so innocent in that picture! Yeah, right!
